How to take care of your ceramic creations ?

You have just picked up your creations, but you are not sure how to take care of them ? We’ve made a list of our 3 best tips to help your ceramic paintings last longer !

  1. A fragile beauty

Ceramics, although usually robust, are a delicate material. They can be subject to chips, cracks and scratches if not handled with care. To guarantee the longevity of your pieces, it is crucial to treat them with respect. When moving a piece, make sure to hold it by its sides and avoid letting it fall. Also remember to avoid stacking them without protection to reduce the risk of damage.

  1. This is dishwasher safe

Our pieces are dishwasher safe as they have been enamelled and fired, so there’s no need to worry. If you’re still unsure about putting them in the dishwasher, you can wash your creation manually using mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge. This will help preserve its colour and shine.

  1. What about the microwave ?

We do not recommend putting your creations in the microwave, as sudden changes in temperature can cause cracks or damage the enamelling. We recommend using a bain-marie or a suitable container to preserve your pieces .

Taking care of your ceramic pieces is a wonderful way to honour the craftsmanship and time invested in each one. By following these simple and useful tips, you can enjoy your ceramics for many years to come, while preserving their beauty and character. Whether for everyday use or special occasions, your ceramic pieces deserve your full attention !
