How much does a workshop cost, and what does it include ?

Ceramic painting: The price of a workshop varies depending on the cost of the piece(s) chosen (€10 to €70), including materials, enamelling and firing.

Modelling: The price of a workshop is €79, including materials, enamelling, firing and a glass of wine! (non-alcoholic option available)

Do I need to bring an apron ?

No, you don’t need to bring an apron to the workshop. One will be provided.

Can the finished ceramic piece be washed in the dishwasher or used in the microwave ?

The finished ceramic piece can be washed in the dishwasher at a maximum temperature of 60 degrees. Very hot water will damage the piece more quickly. We strongly advise you not to use the microwave.

Are the painting products used toxic ?

No, they are not toxic and are water-based, ensuring a safe experience for everyone.

Can children take part in the activity ?

Ceramic painting: Yes, children are welcome to join in the activities, making the Glaçage experience ideal for families. There is no minimum age.

For birthday parties, we require a minimum age of 7 in Waterloo and 10 in Brussels and Liège.

Modelling: Yes, children are welcome to take part. The minimum age is 12.

Are dogs allowed at the studio ?

Yes, your four-legged friends are welcome, as long as they do not disturb the peace and concentration of the participants, thereby ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

Can I come without a booking ?

Yes, you can come without a booking, but it’s best to book – even just five minutes before – on our website to guarantee your place.

Can I change or cancel my booking ?

Ceramic painting: Yes, you can change or cancel your booking, but we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to give us the chance to fill the vacant slot.

Modelling: Yes, via the confirmation link, at least 7 days in advance.

How long do you keep the ceramic pieces after firing them ?

We keep the ceramic pieces for one month after firing. After this period, any unclaimed items will be sold, with the proceeds going to a charity.

I don’t live in Brussels/Waterloo/Liège. Can I collect my ceramic piece earlier or later than the scheduled time?

Yes, you can collect your ceramic piece earlier by opting for an express service within 72 hours, subject to an additional charge of €5 per item. Late pick-up is only possible upon request for those living abroad.

Can you ship my part by Bpost ?

No, unfortunately. We’ve tried it, but the items get damaged in transit.

Can I bring my own food ?

No, you are not allowed to bring your own food, as we offer a selection of savoury and sweet snacks, including gluten-free options for our visitors.

My finished piece has defects – what should I do ?

The creation of the piece itself is a craft process that involves an initial firing. This is followed by hand-painting by you, and then enamelling, again by hand, by our team. This process can sometimes result in minor imperfections. We do our best to minimise these imperfections and ensure the quality of every piece.

Could someone else retrieve my item ?

Yes, someone else can retrieve your item. That person must bring a photo of the item and the pick up card.

What is the recommended amount for a gift card ?

A gift card with a value of around €50 is generally recommended. It gives access to a wide selection of items to paint and covers the cost of the workshop, including painting, enamelling and firing. With this amount, the person can enjoy an even more pleasant experience by having a snack and a drink.
