Nov 20, 2024 | 0 comments

You’ve just picked up your creations, but you don’t know how to take good care of them? We’ve put together our top 3 tips for keeping your ceramic painting looking its best for as long as possible!

  1. Fragile beauty

Ceramic, though often robust, is a delicate material. It can be prone to chips, cracks and scratches if not handled with care. To ensure the longevity of your pieces, it’s crucial to treat them with respect. When moving a part, be sure to hold it by its edges and avoid dropping or dropping it. Also remember to avoid stacking them unprotected to reduce the risk of damage.

  1. Dishwasher safe?

Our pieces are dishwasher-safe because we’ve glazed them and they’re oven-safe, so don’t worry. If you’re still afraid to put them in the dishwasher, you can hand-wash your creation with a mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge, which will keep its color and shine.

  1. Microwave?

We don’t recommend microwaving your creations, as temperature changes can cause cracks or damage the glaze. Instead, reheat in a bain-marie or in a suitable container to preserve your pieces.

Taking good care of your ceramic creations is a fine way of respecting the craftsmanship and time invested in each piece. By following these simple but effective tips, you’ll be able to enjoy your ceramics for many years to come, while preserving their beauty and character. Whether for everyday use or special occasions, your ceramic creations deserve your full attention!
